
Wiregrass Archaeological Consulting, LLC. is a cultural resources
consulting firm that provides professional Cultural Resources Management (CRM) services.
Wiregrass Archaeological Consulting (WAC)
offers clients effective and efficient professional consultation concerning
cultural resources assessments, in order to be compliant with Section 106 of the
National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended. Based out of Dothan,
Alabama, WAC offers professional consultation and services to clients throughout
the Southeast, and especially in Alabama, Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle.
WAC welcomes requests for proposals from clients throughout the Southeast.

Wiregrass Archaeological Consulting is owned and operated by Justin Stickler
who is a U.S. Department of Interior qualified archaeologist, pursuant to 36 C.F.R., Part
61. Stickler is also a registered professional archaeologist (RPA) and a member of
the Alabama Archaeological Society. Stickler has eight years of experience in
archaeology and CRM in the Southeastern United States. After obtaining a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Auburn University in 2000, Stickler
went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Anthropology from Florida State
University in 2004.
Prior to establishing Wiregrass Archaeological Consulting, Stickler worked in
several capacities in the field of CRM both in Alabama and Florida. Most recently,
he served as Project Archaeologist for PBS&J, Transportation Services,
Tallahassee, Florida. Before that he worked as a Cultural Resources Specialist for
JM Waller & Associates at Fort McClellan Army National Guard Training Center,
Fort McClellan, Alabama. Stickler has also been employed by the U.S. Department
of the Interior (National Park Service, Southeastern Archeological Center); Florida
State University; Auburn University; and has participated in numerous projects for
several CRM firms.
